The High Quality Explosion Proof Drum Brake integrates a heavy-duty, flameproof brake frame with a matched YT1 Series Explosion-Proof Thruster.
• Fail-Safe Operation: Designed with a spring-set, electro-hydraulic release mechanism.
• Energized State: The YT1 actuator activates, its push rod extends rapidly, and the lever mechanism opens the brake lining to release the drum.
• De-energized State: Upon power loss or emergency stop, the thruster push rod retracts instantly under the heavy-duty brake spring force, engaging the brake lining to achieve secure, predictable braking.

 

structure and working principle

 

The BYWZ3 series brake is composed of a brake frame and a matched YT1 series thruster. When energized, the actuator actuates and its push rod extends rapidly, opening the brake lining via lever mechanism; when de-energized, the thruster push rod retracts quickly under the force of the brake spring, engaging the brake lining to achieve braking.
