Product Overview
The hydraulic direct-acting brake is a normally open braking device that utilizes disc springs for resetting.Working Principle: When the machinery controlled by the brake is shut down, hydraulic oil is fed into the hydraulic cylinder via the oil inlet port. The hydraulic oil actuates the piston, which then pushes the friction plates toward the brake disc. The friction plates press firmly against the brake disc to achieve static holding brake.This type of brake is typically equipped with an automatic wear compensation function for friction plates. As such, manual adjustment of the clearance between the brake disc and friction plates is not required.
