DADH Series Engineering Machinery Brake

Purpose and Key Features:
The DADH Series Engineering Machinery Brake is a hydraulically actuated, normally open caliper disc brake. It is primarily designed for the lifting and slewing mechanisms of various hydraulically braked equipment, including mobile cranes, crawler cranes, dynamic compactors and rotary drilling rigs. It is also suitable for braking and positioning applications of mechanical equipment in the metallurgy, chemical, construction, mining, wind power and other industries.
Operating Conditions:
- Ambient Temperature:-20 ℃ ~ 50 ℃.
- Applicable Environment:Indoor installation or outdoor installation with protection against rain and snow erosion.
- Special Requirements:Custom specifications are available and subject to negotiation during the ordering process.

- Models DADH60-C1-FW, DADH80-C1-FW and DADH90-C-FW are suitable for applications where the oil circuit has no backup pressure and the residual pressure is close to zero.
- Models DADH60-C1-DW, DADH80-C1-DW and DADH90-C-DW are suitable for applications where the oil circuit has no backup pressure and the residual pressure is less than 0.5 MPa.

Working Principle of DADH Series Engineering Machinery Brake
Normally Open Design Principle
This brake is a hydraulically actuated, normally open caliper disc brake. In its default state, the brake remains open, allowing unimpeded operation of the host equipment. When braking is required, hydraulic pressure is supplied by the hydraulic power unit to actuate the brake calipers, which then clamp the brake disc to achieve reliable braking.
Control Principle
The brake control system mainly consists of a PLC control cabinet, proportional hydraulic power unit, DADH brake self-cooling central control panel, and speed encoder. The encoder collects real-time rotational speed data of the brake disc; the PLC then executes PID algorithm calculations. Based on the calculation results, the system regulates the proportional valve to realize intelligent constant-speed control of the brake disc. This enables precise regulation of the braking process and satisfies braking requirements across diverse operating conditions.
